Ensure the name of the ZIP file adheres to the naming convention specified on the Central Bank Portal upload page. E.g. for MiFID entities CCCCCCC_YYYYMMDD_DORAREG_MiFID where CCCCCCC is the institution C-Code and YYYYMMDD is the reporting date/reference date for the data - i.e. for the Q1 2026 submission, this will be 20251231.

What triggers it
The CBI portal does not use the ESA filename at upload: it wants C<code>_<YYYYMMDD>_DORAREG_<RegisterName>.zip (e.g. C999001_20251231_DORAREG_MiFID.zip). C-code = numeric part of the institution number with leading zeros removed and prefixed 'C' (CBI0012345 -> C12345). No spaces.

How to fix it
Rename only the outer zip to the CBI pattern; keep the inner root folder/ESA structure as required by the portal's own checks (see 'inner directory' error).
Central Bank of Ireland Portal (2026 version performs upfront EBA validations; blocking errors must be fixed before finalise/sign-off, non-blocking ones may be commented in the 'Xbrl Non Blocking Rules Report' and submitted).
