How it appears in feedback
Unplausible amount reported for the total assets of the financial entity. Please check.
What triggers it
Total assets differ significantly from other supervisory data (credit institutions are cross-checked against ITS data) or are implausibly low/high. Common cause: thousands or millions instead of units.
Templates: B_01.02. Columns: c0110 (annex header says c0110; total assets column is c0110 in B_01.02)
How to fix it
Report total assets in units as at 31 December (or latest approved accounts) in the base currency.
Introduced for the 2026 cycle under Art. 7(3) of ESA Decision 2024/22; executed by the EBA from the first week of April 2026 on B_05.01 and B_01.02; returned to NCAs as an error report (table, row ID, column, reported value, error code, message); NCAs asked for resubmission by 30 April 2026. Groups (FI): name field (3 checks), identification code (7), additional identifier (6), ultimate parent (5), country of HQ (1), total assets (1).
